PPSSPP Shaders


Yo, sesuai janji.. kali ini Arashi's Notes bakal share berbagai macam shader yang bisa kalian pakai di PPSSPP kalian. Check it out!
Sebelumnya, apakah kalian tahu apa itu Shader? Menurut webopedia :
A small program or set of algorithms that determines how 3-D surface properties of objects are rendered, and how light interacts with the object within a 3-D computer program. Newer GPUs calculate shaders where previously it was an algorithm calculated by the CPU.
Jadi intinya, shader akan membuat colorcorrection dan lightning yang ada pada sebuah game menjadi lebih maksimal, beberapa orang membuatnya seperti asli~

> Tutorial menambahkan Shader ke PPSSPP
Android :
  • Pastikan file shader yang berektensi .ini , .vsh dan .fsh sudah didownload
  • Copy semua file (termasuk file .ini) ke folder PSP/SHADERS/disini
  • Kalau belum ada folder SHADERS, buat saja manual.
  • Buka PPSSPP, Masuk setting bagian Graphic. Cari Shader nya di pilihan "PostProcessing Shader" (harus mode Buffered Rendering)
Windows :
  • Pastikan file shader yang berektensi .vsh .fsh dan .ini ,sudah didownload
  • Copy semua file nya ke ppsspp/assets/shaders
  • Masuk ke file .ini hasil download tadi, copy semua isi nya
  • Kembali ke folder shaders, buka ' defaultshaders.ini ' menggunakan Notepad,WordPad,dsb. Lalu paste, dan rapikan.
  • Setelah selesai, Shader bisa dibuka lewat PPPSSPP > Setting > PostProcessing Shader
Untuk pengguna Android, Apabila shader masih belum muncul.. coba lakukan prosedur nomor 3-4 untuk tutorial Windows. Aplikasi nya bisa menggunakan "920 Text Editor"

Jika kalian mendapati sebuah shader tanpa file .ini, kalian bisa membuatnya manual dengan rumus :


Code:

[] - Nama Shader yang akan muncul di PPSSPP
Name= - Cuma judul Shader mu
Author= - Pembuat shader, gak terlalu pengaruh sih. Tapi barangkali ada masalah, kamu bisa menghubungi Author tersebut.
Fragment= - File .fsh yang akan di Load
Vertex= - File .vsh

Creating your own shaders:
It's actually easy, it was a black magic for me as well, but turned out they're easy to code and no point on doing it from 0 either, many effects are already free to use on the net, just search for GLSL fragment shaders that doesn't require multiply passes or even to HLSL pixel shaders since they're easy to port, tutorials are also scattered around the net, easy to find something for any level.

  1. LunaMoo Shader
    It started some time ago with just my fast growning customizable shader for quite a while, but finally we have more than one shader here, so slight reformat was neededSmile.

    Isi file:
    - FXAA,
    - 2 Gauss smoothing filters,
    - 5xBR variant A and B scaling shader,
    - 4xHQ scaling shader,
    - Bloom with "Miku" option for very bright anime games,
    - Colored(slight enhance of colors),
    - Natural Colors,
    - Advanced Cartoon,
    - Sharpen,
    - Complex Sharpen ,
    - Shadeboost(with few presets),
    - Gamma correction,
    - Vignette with optional reverse effect,
    - Simple scanlines with some options, can be horizontal(default) or vertical.
    - Saia tampan Tongue

    ChangeLog:
    1. Cleaned all the nasty formatting I had there, and organized it a bit to be easier for expansions.
    2. Following that added a bunch of effects, including working upscaling postprocessing shaders.
    3. Removed most presets as they were only examples anyway, left:
        a) default shader which is now named "Customizable Scaling Shader", it's best used with at least same rendering resolution as display resolution, or above in which case it will work as downscaling shader, default colors are too intensive for most games, so edit as you wish,
        b) example shader called "Example Upscaling Shader" replaces smoothing shader with 5xBR upscaling, to use it, you will have to set "Screen Scaling Filter" to "Nearest" and rendering resolution below your display resolution, preferably x1. Or just redownload to use with ppsspp v1.1.1-28-g70e9979 or newer where it's automatic for upscaling shaders(set by "Upscaling=True" inside ini file).

  2. Arashi-00 Shader
Yak, baru-baru ini Arashi juga belajar bikin shader sendiri lho, dan kali ini saia akan share Shader perdana saia. "Kimochi Shader".
